Detailed Description of Services:
AAROTEC was involved in the reconstruction and development of Olympic Airways' West Passenger Terminal Building, apron and apron lighting and the automobile parking area at the Athens International Airport. The project involved the complicated sequencing of a series of major changes at an existing building while maintaining a traffic flow of over five million passengers annually.
AAROTEC was retained by Olympic Airways to prepare preliminary designs, cost estimates, specification and financial studies for the reconstruction, modernization and expansion of its West Passenger Terminal Building. The services included site planning and utility studies, air traffic forecasts, space requirements and programming, conceptual studies, feasibility studies of alternatives, preliminary design, specifications, cost estimates, and financial studies. AAROTEC also provided preliminary engineering for apron expansion, automobile parking, apron lighting and fueling facilities.
