Detail Description of Services
AAROTEC was retained by the Comisión Ejecutiva Portuaria Autónoma (CEPA) to conduct a feasibility study on the expansion and modernization of the El Salvador International Airport. The project was financed through a grant from the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (TDA). The study included the preparation of a Master Development Plan for the airport and its area of influence for a 20 year period. As part of the study, preliminary design concepts for the expansion of the passenger terminal building and cargo facilities were developed. An analysis of the administrative structure and operations of the airport was also conducted. A marketing and commercialization program was also developed as part of the study.
